My classical guitar, Alvarez Yairi series. It's partly hand-made they said. Got it on sale for $600 back in 1989. I took classical guitar lessons for around two years, but I never got to the advanced level. Anyway if it weren't for the abused condition it'll be worth at least double. Well I tried to keep it in good shape, but the years have taken their toll. |
My electric guitar, an Ibanez FM series. Got this one also on sale for $600 in 1996. Add a hand-held Korg effects processor and a small fender amp. Now I can play all the rock and blues tunes without worrying about abusing my classical. This is what I play most of the time now unless I feel a need to brush up on my classical skills. |
My bedroom, doubling as study. Since I don't sleep here during wintertime, it looks as if it's been turned into a storage room. |
My work room plus A/V room. Due to its slightly higher ambient temperature generated by all the electronics, I sleep here during wintertime. |
My halfway-dug ponds, one small, one large, linked by a stream. Small one is actually a filter pond but I'll be stocking frogs and small fishes in it. Large pond is for koi. I'll be installing a pump and filter that pumps water from large pond into the small one. |
These are Pacific Treefrogs that will be introduced to the smaller pond when the system is set up. I have ten of them. They seem to live well under captivity. There are two darker ones on the tree branch. I hope to have brighter and more focused pictures later on. |
Nothing special here. Just our sideyard. We're planting a plum tree and a few other fruit trees. The white flowers on the left are from the plum tree. |
Standing near my pond again. But contrast is too high to see the pond. |
